Account debits outside Brazil, with the account holder's authorization on file for when you need it

For companies that run graduating classes or bill customers in the United States, Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Costa Rica, Spain and Paraguay. Collect by account debit, transfer and payment request on each country's networks, set up on the same screen as the Brazilian gateways, with the account holder's authorization recorded the way the local bank requires and returns explained with what to do in each case.

The problem and the fix

The problems International Collections solves every day

If any of these situations sounds familiar, it is because they happen in almost every graduation company, until the right system comes in.

The problem

The company serves classes outside Brazil and collects through transfers arranged on WhatsApp, without knowing when the money arrived.

With Partiu Formatura

Account debits and transfers over each country's networks, with the status of every charge tracked and the bank statement on the same platform.

The problem

Abroad, debiting without the account holder's recorded authorization is a violation, and whoever cannot prove it loses the dispute.

With Partiu Formatura

Before the first debit, the system records the authorization with the exact text accepted, date, IP and browser: the NACHA authorization in the US, the PAD in Canada, the SEPA mandate in Spain and the equivalent in each country.

The problem

The debit "settled" and still came back weeks later, and the finance team cannot make sense of the code the bank sent.

With Partiu Formatura

Every return shows up with the reason in plain language and a recommendation: retry, fix the account details or do not resubmit.

The problem

The account holder revoked the authorization at the bank and the company kept debiting.

With Partiu Formatura

When the bank returns a debit because the authorization was revoked, it is locked immediately and the next charge does not go out.

The problem

Keeping foreign customers' account numbers in a spreadsheet is a risk nobody wants to take.

With Partiu Formatura

The account number, CBU or IBAN is stored encrypted. The screen shows only the last four digits.

In practice

Real examples of International Collections working for you

Everyday situations at graduation companies, from the problem to the result, using the modules on this page.

01

An exchange program class billed in the United States

The scenario

A group of graduates living in the US paid their installments by international wire, with high fees and slow confirmation.

With the system

The company set up a US bank on the international gateways screen, and each graduate accepted the recurring debit authorization with the stated frequency and maximum amount.

The result

Installments started going out as account debits in local currency, each one tied to the graduate's installment, and the authorization stayed on file for any dispute.

02

Customers in Spain with a SEPA mandate

The scenario

A company with recurring contracts in Spain needed to collect by direct debit without breaking the mandate rules.

With the system

Each customer signed the SEPA mandate with a unique reference, stored with the accepted text and the date. The debit ran on the consumer scheme or the business-to-business scheme, depending on the customer.

The result

When a customer requested a refund within the eight weeks allowed, the case appeared in the returns list with the reason and guidance on what to do.

03

Payment requests in Argentina and Costa Rica

The scenario

Customers preferred to approve each payment in their own banking app rather than set up an automatic debit.

With the system

The team sent payment requests through DEBIN in Argentina and SINPE Móvil in Costa Rica. Each customer approved it in their own banking app.

The result

The payment came in instantly and the transaction was recorded with the currency and network used.

  4. 4The bank confirmsThe bank's notification updates the status: settled, returned or declined.
  5. 5Return handledIf the debit comes back, the reason and recommendation appear in the returns list.

Account holder authorization

The proof that decides a dispute, recorded before the first debit.

  • The exact text the account holder accepted, date, IP, browser and channel (web, app, paper or phone)
  • The document name customers recognize in each country: NACHA authorization, PAD, PAC mandate, SEPA mandate, adhesión por CBU
  • Recurring authorization with frequency and maximum amount disclosed to the account holder
  • Authorization rejected if the accepted text is missing, because without it the authorization does not hold up in a dispute
  • Revocation recorded with date and reason; after it, no debit goes out

Collections, payouts and statement

Money coming in, money going out and what the bank shows, all in one place.

  • Debit tied to the graduate's or customer's installment

  • A recommendation for each case: retry, fix the account details or do not resubmit
  • A suggested retry date when the problem is insufficient funds
  • Authorization locked automatically when the account holder has revoked it
  • Settlement and return stored on the same transaction, with both dates

  • Setup tips for each bank and a button to verify the configuration
  • Account number, CBU or IBAN encrypted; the screen shows only the last four digits
  • A dedicated endpoint for the bank contract, when the bank issues one per customer
  • Full separation by company, as everywhere in the system
